Panacea Newsletter 6

Towards the end of the holidays Lewis,Rosalind and Lena visited and were busy in lots of ways.

We had a lot of fun one way and another and as the new term began we had finished the workshop and were enjoying the lovely autumn weather.

We had two new arks and although the ducks are out on the river only coming in for food the arks will be very useful. We had new bases put down for the arks-Bob did them, with the help of the ducks!

Apart from that Robbie has made a skittle pocket game which turned out really well.Lewis is busy doing a complicated circuit for a steady hand game and Jake is whittling a letter opener! Two more chooks have arrived as Doris sadly died having refused all food she faded away. Now Dorothy and Gloria are finding where they are in the pecking order! Hitler Doreen is definitely chief!

The term is vanishing fast and we are about to turn our thoughts to Christmas goodies. The log stove will soon be lit which will cosy things up too. Happy days. Lindsay
